The boys: Fabian is dexterous, confident, and fights using his physical prowess to outmaneuver his enemies (Beauty), Gorgug is straightforward, very strong, and just hits his foes without any sophistication (Brawn), and Riz is clever, sneaky, and fights by taking advantage of his opponents' tactical errors to inflict more damage (Brains).Similarly, while Aguefort has nothing but praise and respect for the Seven, he's a lot ruder with the Bad Kids, to the point of developing a slightly antagonistic relationship with Gorgug.
The Bad Kids are competent adventurers who've saved the world on two different occasions, but are still considered misfits and nobodies by their peers as late as Junior High, as shown in the Boys' Night One-Shot.
Almighty Janitor: In comparison to the Seven, who are as powerful and accomplished as them, but enjoy much more status and popularity as adventurers. Still it's a film best consigned to the juvenile audience. Why it didn't win an Oscar in the only category Legend was nominated in, is beyond me. Legend is photographed well and the makeup is in a class by itself. He overacts with relish his role of the Lord of Darkness, he's the main reason to see Legend. Especially Tim Curry who steals the film. However the rest of the cast looks like they're having a grand old time. If her dad the king was around, she'd have just ordered him to buy her those unicorns. Mia Sara comes off a bit like a spoiled Jewish American Princess. Fantasy certainly is something he never tried again in his career. In fact the only two in the film who go without any make up because they're the only humans in the film are woodsman Tom Cruise and princess Mia Sara. I don't think there was a film like this since Paramount took most of it's players in 1933 and put them all in makeup for its version of Alice in Wonderland. Sad to say this is a film whose parts are greater than the whole. Previously I had only seen bits and pieces. I finally got to see Legend in its entirety from start to finish in one sitting.
